These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Puzzle Drop Studio ("we", "us") and govern your use of Scapewatch ("the game"). By creating an account or playing the game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not play.
You play Scapewatch through Steam, in a web browser, or on Android, and you sign in with a Steam account. You must meet Steam's minimum age requirement, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country), to play. Your account is tied to your Steam identity, and you are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You choose a public display name and may add optional profile details such as a creator channel link. You also create content when you chat in the game. You are responsible for what you post. Do not choose names or post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, impersonating, or otherwise harmful. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display your display name, chat, and profile content within the game so the game can function.

We may review chat and account activity to keep the game safe. We may mute, suspend, ban, or remove accounts and content, at our discretion, when these Terms are broken. Chat is filtered, and serious or repeated violations can result in a permanent ban.
All in-game items, currency, levels, and progress are part of the game and have no real-world monetary value. They are not your property, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be changed, reset, balanced, or wiped, particularly while the game is in active development. Any purchases you make are handled by Steam and are subject to Steam's refund and purchase policies, not ours.
Scapewatch is under active development and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and the game may experience downtime, maintenance, or data resets. We do not promise the game will always be available or error-free.
The game relies on services such as Steam, Discord, and our hosting providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the game is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Puzzle Drop Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost progress, data, or items, arising from your use of the game.
You may stop playing at any time and may request that we delete your account and data (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the game and its players.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in that state, unless your local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
